VINTAGE SIZING
in some cases, the size of the item of clothing is not listed or there are no tags, it's homemade, tag is faded, etc. this is where measurements are so incredibly helpful for ensuring a nice fit + the likelihood that you will make your new piece of vintage a staple in your closet.
1. get some measuring tape and measure around the fullest part of your bust. measure your high natural waist, this is a little above your belly button. measure around your bum, around the fullest part of your hips.
2. using these measurements you can check the bust/waist/hips measurement of each item of clothing. the waist number has been taken on the garment lying flat (double to compare to your own body measurements for bust/waist/hips). if a particular measurement is not listed please inquire for more details.
when in doubt you can check your own measurements against a favorite item of clothing to compare. clothing modeled here will also mention model's modern size in items, height, and sometimes their measurement to further guide your purchase.
** Apologies if the piece you are looking at is missing a measurement. The Collection Rive website is a work in progress and some of the pieces were measured differently or not at all - moving ahead this will all seem more streamlined and meanwhile please reach out to procure the measurement you need.
SHIPPING
yes, we ship worldwide. first class international for $15. domestic rates vary - we prefer to use biodegradable bags but sometimes items are too bulky in which case they will go priority mail. purchases over $100 always include free shipping. typically shipping in the US will be a flat fee of $5.50.
RETURNS
all sale items or items purchased with a discount are final sale. regular priced items are eligible for store credit only, less the original shipping cost. returns must be received back within ten days of receiving your order. you will receive a store credit for the remaining return amount when the item is received and postage and duties will be the responsibility of the buyer. due to the nature of vintage - items will be sold as is, all the imperfections are considered part of the item's story and some patina might be expected. with that all being said, please reach out if it seems like something was grossly missed or unaccounted for with your piece and we will make it right; we want you to love what you buy here and your experience matters.
